This is a time of change - changing clocks, and changing seasons. Not many people like change. Change is oftentimes uncomfortable, however change is necessary if further progress is to be made. If you stay in one place and refuse to change, you will not move ahead. That has been our challenge in the last few months - lots of change!

By the end of the summer, we began to make the adjustment to continue on in our ministry without the aid of three staff people. Changes came about in their lives and as a result, they are serving the Lord in different areas and not alongside us. That makes for change in our tasks and responsibilities.

In September, we changed the focus of our ministry from conducting our summer evangelism training seminars to a new group of students for our School of Evangelism. Jacob Iredale and Ashley Joyner enrolled as students in our T-1, first year program and Jon Foster returned to complete the T-2, second year program. The students are learning how to apply themselves to a rigorous study schedule, a new home and new friends.

Our school is usually held at our facilities here in Armada, MI, but in mid-September we changed our classroom to a place across the country in San Jose, CA. We all went there to train nine other men enrolled in the Discipleship Intern Training Program. Our training included a one week course on the events of the End Times which was followed by our one week Basic Training Seminar in evangelism. It was a long commute (over 6500 miles!) yet, the trip not only provided us with the opportunity to train the group from the DITP but it also provided us with the opportunity to disciple our students in how to live and work as a team, to develop a lifestyle of evangelism, to meet and fellowship with other believers, and to see God's hand operating to meet our needs.

We have since returned to MI, where we are attempting to move forward. In the midst of lots of changes, we have been reminded of God's faithfulness to provide the wisdom for the way and the strength to endure. So we press on for Him!
