Immediately following graduation from TEPSE 1, the students who desire to move on to TEPSE 2 begin a summer internship with our staff as the official start to the next level in their studies. It is our desire that these interns gain work experience in the field of evangelism. Currently, we are in the process of training our interns with the ins and outs of life as a missionary. Our interns are spending their summer traveling with our staff, participating in our evangelism training seminars, counseling at Christian youth camps, as well as learning and doing other applications of evangelism.
Please pray for Jon Foster, our current T2 student, and Matthew Rivera, a student at Moody Bible Institute who is going through our internship as a requirement for his MBI education. We are very happy to have them as a part of our team and have enjoyed the summer thus far serving the Lord with them.
It's hard to believe, but we are already more than half way through our busy summer schedule! We were gone most of the month of May and a good portion of the month of June. We conducted two evangelism seminars and a DLP Residency in Atlanta, an evangelism seminar in Chicago and then headed home. After a bit of rest, we made our way to Camp Hope for a week of ministry there. From there we proceeded to Kansas City for an evangelism seminar and another DLP Residency.

Along the way we have had several opportunities to share the Gospel with various people. In Atlanta, the DLP class had the opportunity to talk with a couple of Mormon missionaries about the real Jesus. These young men were very kind and listened to what we had to say,
but sadly rejected the Gospel and continued to cling to their Mormon beliefs. Pray that they will see the error of their doctrine and their need for Christ. At Camp Hope we had ample opportunities to share the Gospel with the kids that were under our charge. Many kids came to know Christ as their Savior during that week for which we praise the Lord. Pray for them that they would grow in Christ and for those that did not accept Christ that they would remember the things we told them.
Phew! It's been quite a ride the last few months and we are not yet finished, but we know that we can continue on through the strength of the Lord - which never runs out!
