Basic Training Seminars Information
Chicago, IL - June 4-8, 2012
Times and Dates:
The Basic Training Seminar begins early Monday morning, June 4th at the Moody Bible Institute (820 N. LaSalle Blvd, Chicago, IL 60610). All participants are asked to arrive at the school on Sunday, June 3rd before 8 pm. This will give you time to get settled in your room and prepare for the week. The seminar schedule includes several full days (8 am-5 pm) of classroom instruction and workshops, plus a full days of actually doing open-air evangelism in downtown Chicago. The seminar will conclude Friday afternoon, so plan to depart after supper.
Cost:
- SEMINAR FEE - $295 (required): The seminar instruction includes the purchase of the required, specialized equipment consisting of a portable paint board, a paint kit wit brushes, a magic trick, and a training manual.
- Special discount - Come with a small group and purchase one paint board and paint kit for your group ($195) and each participant in your group pays only $150.
- ROOM - $175 (optional): Participants will be housed at the school in typical school setting (bunk beds in dorm room with shared bathroom facilities). Blanket, sheets and towels are provided by the school. If you would like to reserve a room at the school for the seminar, please indicate that on the application.
- PARKING - $10/night: Secured on-site overnight parking will be provided by the school.
- MEALS - on your own: Food service is available at the school or at surrounding restautants at your own expense.
- Please Note: You may want to bring extra money for other personal miscellaneous expenses.
Registration:
To register for this seminar, please complete the application and return it to our office along with the $50 registration fee no later than May 21st. The registration fee will be applied to the total cost of the seminar. The remaining balance will be due no later than Monday,June 4th, the first day of the seminar.
Scholoarships:
There are a limited number of scholarships available for missionaries, full time Christian workers, pastors, and youth pastors. Scholarships will be granted to cover the cost of the seminar fee only, at the discretion of The Ezekiel Project, Inc. If you would like more information regarding a scholarship, please indicate so in the space provided on the seminar application.
CEU Credit:
The CEU (Continuing Education Units) is a nationally recognized standard unit of measure for substantive non-degree credit learning experiences. Under the criteria and guidelines established by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, The Ezekiel Project, Inc. is authorized to award 4.0 CEUs to all participants who successfully complete this training seminar. A certificate of achievement will be issued to each participant upon the successful completion of this seminar and a permanent record of each individual's completion will remain on file with copies issued to each participant upon request.
Age Requirement:
Individuals under 18 years of age must have the signed permission of a parent or guardian in order to participate in this seminar.
