BASIC TRAINING SEMINAR INFORMATION
ATLANTA, GA - MAY 11-15, 2009
TIMES AND DATES: The Basic Training Seminar begins early Monday morning, May 11th at Camp Hope in Dahlonega, GA. Therefore, we would like all participants to arrive at Camp Hope on Sunday, May 10th. This will give you time to get settled in your room and prepare for the week. The seminar schedule includes three full days (8 am-5 pm) of classroom instruction and workshops, plus two full days of actually doing open-air evangelism in Atlanta. The seminar will conclude Friday evening, so plan to depart on Saturday, May 16th.
COST
- SEMINAR FEE - $250 (required): The seminar instruction is free of charge, however the materials required are not without cost. The required specialized equipment consists of a paintboard, a paint kit with brushes, a magic trick, and a training manual.
- Room and Board - $75 (optional): Dormitory rooms and meals will be provided by the camp at the cost of $75 per person. If you will need room and board for the seminar please indicate so on the seminar application.
- Please note: The room and board fee is in addition to the seminar fee. You will also need to bring extra money for other personal and miscellaneous expenses.
REGISTRATION: To register for this seminar, please complete the application and return it to our office along with the $50 registration fee no later than April 27th. The registration fee will be applied to the total cost of the seminar. The remaining balance will be due no later than Monday, May 11th, the first day of the seminar.
SCHOLARSHIPS: There are a limited number of scholarships available for those who find it difficult to meet the costs of the seminar fee. Scholarships will be granted, at the discretion of The Ezekiel Project, Inc., to those who have applied for them and according to the need. If you would like more information regarding a scholarship, please indicate so in the space provided on the seminar application.
CEU CREDIT: The CEU (Continuing Education Units) is a nationally recognized standard unit of measure for substantive non-degree credit learning experiences. Under the criteria and guidelines established by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, The Ezekiel Project, Inc. is authorized to award 4.0 CEUs to all participants who successfully complete this training seminar. A certificate of achievement will be issued to each participant upon the successful completion of this seminar and a permanent record of each individual's completion will remain on file with copies issued to each participant upon request.
AGE REQUIREMENT: Individuals under 18 years of age must have the signed permission of a parent or guardian in order to participate in this seminar.
