While most seminar participants come from a wide range of backgrounds, none more so than this year's seminar in New York. We had students come from as far away as India, Japan, Kenya, and of course the good old USA. When you have students come from so many different cultures, it can create some difficulties in teaching them about the method and adapting it to the culture in which that method is to be used. Although everyone spoke English we also had a bit of a challenge with keeping the language understandable. On one occasion, while out conducting an actual open air meeting, one of the participants was able to translate the paintboard message into Spanish. What a blessing it was to have this brother as part of our training group so that he could help speak forth the message of life to those who may have not been able to understand the Gospel otherwise! So, although we had some language and cultural barriers, we still had the commonality of Christ and the passion to share Him with others. We are thankful to God, Who gave us these students and allowed us to train them in the hope that they in turn will be able to reach a wide range of people in their culture.

Thankfully after a busy summer comes a time of a little rest and relaxation before we go full speed yet again when school starts at the end of the month. It is always nice to move the clothes from the suitcase to the dresser and get back into the swing of the things back at home. While we may have some time off from our TEP ministry, it does give us a few more ministry opportunities such as VBS, preaching, and Bible studies. We like being on vacation but are looking forward to starting up with a fresh batch of students.

Some of you may have heard of the impending wedding of Christina Harangozo to Thomas Amos, a TEPSE graduate! On August 29th, Christina and Thomas will be married here in Michigan. Following the wedding event, they will move to Albany, GA where she and Thomas will reside. As a result, Christina will no longer serve as a full-time missionary with The Ezekiel Project. We are very sad to see her leave and shall greatly miss her presence and her ministry with us, however we are very excited for her and Thomas' life together.
