If you know anything about golf, you know that the Masters golf tournament is a big deal. Not only is it one of the biggest and most prestigious tournaments, but it also attracts hundreds of thousands of people every year who come to see this event. While we at The Ezekiel Project are not huge golf fans, we h
ave been drawn to this tournament for the past several years. We have been coming down to Augusta, GA, where the Masters is held, to do some major evangelistic literature distribution. This year while standing outside of the golf course at the paths to the entrance gates, our team was able to distribute approximately 25,000 "May I Ask You a Question?" booklets to the fans attending this event. The booklets seemed to be well received and we can only pray that many would read them and accept the Savior.
While in Georgia, we also had some other ministry opportunites, including doing some open-air evangelism on the campus of the University of Georgia as well as a kids' meeting at a local YMCA. At the Y, we were able to preach the Gospel to approximately 60 kids, which fostered great discussion with some of them afterwards. A couple of these kids professed to accept Christ! It was such a treat to be able to talk to these kids who are hungry to learn about Jesus. Praise God for His greatness.
